It is supposed to really work but some people claim that it is actually a scam.
Perhaps you can find some useful information in a web search for “acai berry detox diet”.

To tell the truth I have not checked out any of the berry programs but Im thinking about it. For now I am just sticking with pomegranite.

ive been looking up the same thing for the past week and i’ve taken this thing since wednesday. i’ve been running on the tredmill for an hour everyday since, and lost 4lbs. now idk if its because of the acai or because of running but i suggest you do both. i mean its only been three days and i lost 4lbs you can’t beat that.

No, it’s not going to work.
It’s being marketed as some kind of super pill. But ask a doctor or anyone into medical science and they will disagree with the claims of the acai berry.
Let’s be scientific here, weight loss happens when one burns more calories then they take in. That is the secret formula that all diets work on.
Well since there is no “Independent” peer-reviewed clinical studies there is no proof that it works.
Also since the FDA can’t regulate this kind of product then there is a good chance of risk and bad side effects.
This is the best way to lose weight –
Find out your calorie intake should be and do a 250 deficit. Doing this will slowly lose weight.
You can speed it up with cardio which is the best way to burn calories fast. To make it even more effective add resistance training to your routine. Another trick is to eat 6 meals a day based on your calorie intake allowance(including the 250 deficit) which will keep your metabolism going.
